Milwaukee is known for great beer, thanks to Miller! The second largest brewer in the U.S. calls Milwaukee home and opens its doors daily for tours.
Milwaukee County Zoo
Recognized as one of the country’s finest zoological attractions, the Milwaukee County Zoo is home to more than 1,700 animals and 350 species. As the zoo continues to grow, it offers visitors a course in education, conservation and enjoyment.
Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (The Domes)
These soaring, 140-foot, beehive-shaped domes are a true sight to see. Each dome has a distinct climate and exhibits plant life in a natural setting. Visit a tropical rain forest, an arid desert or a floral paradise, right in Milwaukee!
Milwaukee Public Market
Year round, the Milwaukee Public Market is home to 20 local specialty food vendors featuring everything from fresh produce, meat, fish and bakery to flowers, hot coffee and soups. In the warmer months, the Milwaukee Public Market also hosts a more traditional farmer's market outside.
Paradise Landing Water Park
The very first urban, indoor water park! Located in the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, it’s a tropical getaway any time of the year.
Pettit National Ice Center
The Pettit is a U.S. Olympic training facility that speed skaters Dan Jansen and Bonnie Blair, both Olympic gold medalists, once called home. The Pettit remains a training facility, but it is also open to the public for speed skating, figure skating and hockey.
Schlitz Audubon Nature Center
On the shores of Lake Michigan, the center has over six miles of hiking trails that take visitors through 185 acres of unspoiled natural beauty, just minutes from downtown.
