A part-time job started my story 22 years ago. Little did I know that it would turn into a satisfying and rewarding career. At Kohl’s, I’ve come to expect great things like that every day. A new opportunity or chance is always around the corner.

In my role, I supervise the Associates, manage the correction of vendor errors and allocate cartons to stores. I’m responsible for the training of my staff to process merchandise to supply the stores. This training helps them to efficiently maintain their inventories while meeting our building goals for units per hour, cost per hour, turn time and accuracy and safety.

The opportunity to advance and transform into a leader truly captured my interest in a career at Kohl’s. And I’ve found that you can never run out of ways to grow and things to learn.

I never feel alone. There is always support from some level, and the feeling of partnership motivates me to work harder. And drives me to get others to work harder. When I can help someone improve, it’s more than a personal accomplishment — it helps Kohl’s department stores reach their goals.

It’s inspiring to work in a great city. You get a little bit of it all here in the Milwaukee area — zoos, museums, fantastic parks and restaurants. And the lakefront and the downtown area can be enjoyed year-round. Road trips to popular destinations (Wisconsin Dells and Chicago) are enjoyable, convenient and under two hours.
