Area Supervisor
Responsible for approximately half of the store selling floor. Ensures customer service, merchandising, and visual presentation are maintained to Company standards. Periodically participates in the Manager on Duty Program. Effectively handles emergencies and accidents. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time Associates, leads merchandising teams in setting up the store, directs and teaches new Associates in Kohl’s Best Practices.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior supervisory experience in sales, customer service and other areas interacting with the public. Ability to work well with Associates at all levels. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer basics. Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.
Must be available Sunday-Saturday for 8-hour shifts anytime from 5am-12:30am.
Cosmetic/Beauty Sales Sepcialist
Serves as department expert in regards to merchandising, service and operational procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in sales, customer service and other areas interacting with the public. Working knowledge of computer basics. Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis. Must be comfortable applying make-up to customers and educating them on our cosmetic products.
Must be available Sunday-Saturday for 8-hour shifts anytime from 6am-12:30am.
Customer Service Area Supervisor
Supervises and assists in scheduling Point of Sale and Customer Service Desk teams. Responsible for training and follow-up to ensure each Associate is working within Kohl’s policies and procedures. Leads by example, implementing Kohl’s Service Standards. Responsible for all Cash Office functions. Responsible for ensuring that credit standards are communicated and credit goals are achieved. Periodically participates in the Manager on Duty Program. Prior to store opening, responsible for all new Associate training and tracking. Facilitates orientation classes, monitors training and maintains files in accordance to HR guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience (preferably supervisory) in sales, customer service and other areas interacting with the public. Ability to work
well with Associates at all levels. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer basics. Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.

Department Sales Supervisors
Responsible for one or more selling floor departments. Trains, supervises and assigns tasks to Associates. Ensures customer service, merchandising, and visual presentation are maintained to Company standards. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time Associates, assists with all phases of store set-up including training, truck unload and freight processing.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior supervisory experience in sales, customer service and other areas interacting with the public. Ability to work well with Associates at all levels. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer basics. Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.

Freight and Operations Area Supervisor
Leads Freight and Replenishment teams. Responsible for processing receipts of merchandise, fixtures and supplies. Processes returns to vendors and transfers to other locations. Maintains receiving and stock areas to Company standards. Trains new Associates on receiving operations. Accurately completes merchandise counts. Effectively handles emergencies and accidents. Completes ad sets and price changes as necessary. Periodically participates in the Manager on Duty Program.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience (preferably supervisory) in merchandise receiving and stocking experience in other retail or warehouse/distribution environment. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 75 pounds on a frequent basis.

Jewelry Sales Specialist
Serves as department expert in regards to merchandising, service and operational procedures.

Loss Prevention Supervisor
Administers theft prevention program for the store. Develops and implements store awareness programs addressing theft, safety, and inventory control. Monitors store’s compliance with company policies and procedures on theft prevention, safety and inventory control. Directs workflow and supervises Loss Prevention Officers. Orients and trains new Loss Prevention Officers. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time Associates.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior supervisory experience in retail Loss Prevention required. Knowledge of surveillance and apprehension techniques. Demonstrated ability to make decisions in stressful situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic math and reading skills. Legible handwriting. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, reaching) on a frequent basis. Capable of detaining theft suspects.

Shoe Sales Specialist
Serves as department expert in regards to merchandising, service and operational procedures.

Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.

Store Secretary/Administrative Assistant
Responsible for ensuring that day-to-day communication from corporate office is directed to appropriate Associates. Maintains personnel administration, payroll functions, and scheduling system for 125+ store Associates. Makes adjustments to corporate pre-generated work schedules based on unique store needs. Performs store audits. Creates store reports/documents and other statistical functions. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time and temporary Associates, and enters all new hire information into Kohl’s computer system.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior administrative experience in a general office, expense control, or personnel administration preferred. Experience using
Windows PC environment, including Microsoft Office. Above-average math and reading skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Able to lift 35 pounds on an occasional basis.
Must be available Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (with some flexibility).
Visual Supervisor
Implements all aspects of merchandise and visual presentation in accordance with corporate directives. Assists in maintaining fixture disciplines, signing, and merchandising directives. Trains new Visual Associates as required. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time Associates.
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years experience in merchandising and visual presentation in a retail environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Basic math and reading skills and legible handwriting. Basic carpentry skills. Basic PC skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.
