Ad Set Associates
Responsible for setting and signing merchandise ads according to company standards and guidelines. Ability to work independently or on a team. Carries out job related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in retail sales & operations. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift.
Must be available to work flexible hours, mainly 8pm-1:00am
Customer Service/Cash Office Associates
Responsible for creating an exceptional customer service environment and ensuring customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. Reinforce service desk standards and resolve customer problems by following policies and procedures. Balances and processes refunds and media from sales and return registers, processes cash deposits and currency orders and completes daily reports.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in customer service or cash balancing and processing. Ten key calculator skills. Comfortable with Windows-based PC environment, basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting and good verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.

Cosmetic/Beauty Associates
Responsible for greeting and offering assistance to customers, applying make-up to customers and educating them on beauty products in the Beauty Department. Assist in executing department merchandising and operations functions.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in cosmetic sales, customer service, and other areas interacting with the public. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.

Freight Unloaders/Merchandisers
Responsible for the truck unload process and stocking all new incoming freight onto the sales floor. Will also prepare the store for receiving merchandise, fixtures and supplies for the selling floor. Responsible for moving and stocking merchandise from the unload area to the sales floor and stock room areas. Assists in processing incoming/outgoing transfers and returns to vendor. Follows company Freight Unload and Merchandising “Best Practices”.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience receiving, handling and merchandising in a retail or warehouse/distribution environment. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 75 pounds on a frequent basis.
Must be available to work flexible hours, mainly 5:00am-2:30pm including weekends.
Housekeeping Associates
Cleans and maintains floors, carpets, fixtures, doors, windows, restrooms, and all other interior areas of the store; responsible for snow/ice removal, keeping curbs and sidewalks clear, and other general maintenance of the store exterior. Processes receipts of merchandise, fixtures and supplies. Moves merchandise, fixtures and supplies between the sales floor and stock areas. Carries large purchases to customer’s vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior housekeeping or building and equipment maintenance experience in other retail or office environment preferred. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to consistently perform physical activities including pushing power cleaning equipment, using hand tools and cleaning equipment (ie: mops, broom, snow shovels, etc.), bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and lifting on a frequent basis. Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Loss Prevention Officers
Monitors customer and Associate activity in the store for potential theft of company assets. Assists in monitoring store’s compliance with company policies and procedures on theft prevention, safety, and inventory control. Promotes awareness and training in various areas of operation. Communicates potential theft and shortage control issues to Supervisor and Store Management.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in Loss Prevention or educational background in Loss Prevention, security or law enforcement preferred. Demonstrated ability to make decisions in stressful situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic math and reading skills. Legible handwriting. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, reaching) on a frequent basis. Capable of detaining theft suspects.

Point of Sale Associates (Register Operators)
Responsible for greeting customers, operating a cash register, opening new Kohl’s charge accounts, and processing customer's purchases accurately and efficiently at the Point-of-Sale while maintaining a neat, clean and organized register area.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in sales, customer service, and other areas interacting with the public. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.

Replenishment Associates
Responsible for replenishment of merchandise to the sales floor. Assists in moving and stocking merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor utilizing replenishment reports.
Preferred Qualifications Prior experience receiving, handling and merchandising in a retail environment. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting and good verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 75 pounds on a frequent basis.
Must be available to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends.
Sales Floor Associates
Greets customers and offers assistance as needed. Assists in store recovery & executing merchandising/operational functions to company standards and guidelines. Backup cashiers as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in sales, customer service, and other areas interacting with the public. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.
