When will Kohl's begin accepting applications?
When the store of interest is listed on this page, candidates can click on the store name for hourly position hiring information for that store. Local newspaper employment ads will also run to let potential candidates know that we are hiring.

How can I apply for an Executive Management position in a new store location?
Both new and existing Kohl's store Executive Management openings are listed on the Executive Current Openings page.

Can hourly candidates apply early to guarantee consideration?
In order to ensure fair and equal consideration of all candidates, we cannot accept early applications. Additionally, the manager(s) responsible for hiring new store associates will not have started their new store positions in time to review any applications early.

What positions can hourly candidates apply for?
Each new store will hire full-time, part-time and part-time-temporary positions. Candidates must be at least 17 years of age and able to pass a drug screen to apply.

How can HOURLY candidates apply to work at a new Kohl's store?
Anyone who is interested in applying for an hourly position at a new Kohl's store must apply via the Kohl's Hiring Hotline or online. Click any city name to learn how to apply for an hourly position at that location.

Kohl's will also host a Job Fair for each new store location. Candidates may report to the Job Fair site to inquire about employment opportunities, but only those who have scheduled an interview through the Kohl's Hiring Hotline or online are guaranteed an interview. Job Fair dates, times and locations will be posted on this site when that information is available.

To ensure fair and equal consideration, applications sent to the corporate office or any existing store location cannot be considered.

What is the Kohl's Hiring Hotline?
The Kohl's Hiring Hotline is a toll-free number that routes you directly into our screening/scheduling process. This hotline number is revealed and activated at the same time as our hiring advertising runs in local newspapers (2-3 months prior to a new store opening). The hiring hotline number will also be posted on this site when it is available for use.
