Here are the positions that Kohl's is currently hiring for:
Area Supervisors (Full-Time)
Responsible for approximately half of the store selling floor. Ensures customer service, merchandising, and visual presentation are maintained to company standards. Participates in the Manager on Duty Program. Effectively handles emergencies and accidents. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time Associates, leads merchandising teams in setting up the store, directs and teaches new Associates in Kohl’s Best Practices.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior supervisory experience in sales, customer service and other areas interacting with the public. Ability to work well with Associates at all levels. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer basics. Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.
Must be available Sunday-Saturday for 8-hour shifts and open and/or close store as required.
Customer Service Area Supervisor (Full-Time)
Supervises and assists in scheduling Point of Sale and Customer Service Desk teams. Responsible for training and follow-up to ensure each Associate is working within Kohl’s policies and procedures. Leads by example, implementing Kohl’s Service Standards. Responsible for all Cash Office functions. Responsible for ensuring that credit standards are communicated and credit goals are achieved. Participates in the Manager on Duty Program. Prior to store opening, responsible for all new Associate training and tracking. Facilitates orientation classes, monitors training and maintains files in accordance with Human Resource guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience (preferably supervisory) in sales, customer service and other areas interacting with the public. Ability to work well with Associates at all levels. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer basics. Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.

Department Sales Supervisors (Full-Time)
Responsible for one or more selling floor departments. Trains, supervises and assigns tasks to Associates. Ensures customer service, merchandising, and visual presentation are maintained to company standards. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time Associates, assists with all phases of store set-up including training, truck unloading and freight processing.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior supervisory experience in sales, customer service and other areas interacting with the public. Ability to work well with Associates at all levels. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer basics. Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.

Operations Area Supervisor (Full-Time)
Leads Freight and Replenishment Teams. Responsible for processing receipts of merchandise, fixtures and supplies. Processes returns to vendors and transfers to other locations. Maintains receiving and stock areas to company standards. Trains new Associates on receiving operations. Accurately completes merchandise counts. Effectively handles emergencies and accidents. Periodically participates in the Manager on Duty Program.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience (preferably supervisory) in merchandise receiving and stocking in other retail or warehouse/distribution environment. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 75 pounds on a frequent basis.
Must be available Sunday-Saturday for 8-hour shifts anytime from 5 a.m.-12:30 a.m.
Jewelry Sales Specialist (Full-Time)
Serves as department expert in regards to merchandising, service and operational procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in sales, customer service and other areas interacting with the public. Working knowledge of computer basics. Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.
Must be available Sunday-Saturday for 8-hour shifts anytime from 6 a.m.-12:30 a.m.
Loss Prevention Supervisor (Full-Time)
Administers theft prevention program for the store. Develops and implements store awareness programs addressing theft, safety and inventory control. Monitors store’s compliance with company policies and procedures on theft prevention, safety and inventory control. Directs workflow and supervises Loss Prevention Officers. Orients and trains new Loss Prevention Officers. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of
part-time Associates.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior supervisory experience in retail Loss Prevention required. Knowledge of surveillance and apprehension techniques. Demonstrated ability to make decisions in stressful situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic math and reading skills. Legible handwriting. Must be comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, reaching) on a frequent basis. Capable of detaining theft suspects.

Shoe Sales Specialist (Full-Time)
Serves as department expert in regards to merchandising, service and operational procedures.

Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis.

Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Responsible for ensuring that day-to-day communication from corporate office is directed to appropriate Executives and Associates. Reviews and edits Associate schedules, maintains timekeeping system and reports total store payroll. Maintains personal and job-related information for 115+ store Associates. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time Associates, and enters all new hire information into Kohl’s computer system.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior administrative experience in a general office, expense control, or personnel administration preferred. Experience using Windows PC environment, including Microsoft Office. Above-average math and reading skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Able to lift 35 pounds on an occasional basis.
Must be available for shifts beginning at 8 a.m. weekdays (7 a.m. Monday) with occasional weeknight and weekend flexibility
Visual Supervisor (Full-Time)
Implements all aspects of visual and graphics presentation in accordance with corporate directives. Assists in maintaining fixture disciplines, signing and merchandising directives. Trains new Visual Associates as required. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time Associates.
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years experience in merchandising and visual presentation in a retail environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Basic math and reading skills and legible handwriting. Basic carpentry skills. Basic PC skills. Must be comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 35 pounds and climb ladders on a frequent basis.
Must be available Sunday-Saturday for 8-hour shifts anytime from 6 a.m.-12:30 a.m.
Point of Sale Specialist (Part-Time)
Responsible for greeting customers and ensuring that purchases are processed accurately and efficiently. Reinforces Point of Sale customer service standards and ensures compliance with Company policies and procedures on handling Point of Sale operations. Resolves customers’ issues, assists in training new store Associates and is responsible for ensuring that credit standards are communicated and credit goals are achieved.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in sales, customer service and other areas interacting with the public. Prior supervisory experience in one of the above environments. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 40 pounds on a frequent basis.
Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends.
