Job Title:

As an Information Services intern you will have the opportunity to build critical development experience through interaction with a variety of teams.  As an intern you will receive extensive training on the concepts and technologies involved with application architecture, programming languages, business processes and testing.  This training is done in the state-of-the-art IS Learning center. Primary responsibilities include:

·         Identifying problems at the program and system level and recommending solutions

·         Coding structures program changes to new or existing programs from specifications using multiple programming languages/platforms

·         Creating and executing unit test plans, participating in system, integration, and acceptance tests

·         Reviewing program specifications and documentation

·         Preparing effective documentation of project notes, issues, and requirements

·         Developing a final project by researching a specific area or opportunity within the IS department. Presenting final project to members of your department in addition to members of senior leadership

·         Anticipated graduation date between Dec 2010 – Aug 2011

·         Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field

·         Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

·         Minimum GPA of 3.0

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills

·         Demonstrated leadership and team work skills

·         Coursework in Systems Analysis and Design and Database Concepts

·         Experience in JAVA, COBOL, C/C++, or Visual Basic

·         Desire to relocate to Wisconsin upon successful completion of internship
