Position Summary:
The Information Services Business Analyst Internship program focuses on building critical development experience to successfully capture and model business requirements for small development projects. Primary responsibilities include:
· Documenting accurate and thorough user requirements
· Defining the life cycle of the systems development process to ensure that appropriate business issues are resolved at the appropriate times
· Communicating with business partners to ensure the business requirements have been met
· Helping support the scope and change control of project
· Facilitating a post-project audit
· Tracking and reporting project process
· Assisting in preparing the weekly status report to IS Management
· Developing a final project by researching a specific area or opportunity within the IS department. Presenting final project to members of your department in addition to members of senior leadership
Required Qualifications:
· Anticipated graduation date between Dec 2010 – August 2011
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a major or minor in a computer related field
· Must be able to work full time between the dates of June 1, 2010 – August 6, 2010
· Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
· Minimum GPA of 3.0
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrated leadership and team work skills
· Desire to relocate to Wisconsin upon successful completion of internship
